Kaffir Lily
Floradora huddled inside with the rest of us yesterday, during a major winter storm. First thing this morning she checked and found the Kaffir Lily decided to blossom again…
.
.
…we can hardly believe this amazing plant is still blooming! It was a truly pummelling storm, but despite the adversity and chaos all around, the beauty survived and returned to encourage us.

.
Thank you so much for this bright encouragement.
We were very surprised to see this lovely and delicate flower blooming in the midst of all the howling wind and pelting rain, and wanted to share the beauty.
I believe in the goodness of humanity and am praying that beauty will survive here and that the chaos will cease.
Indeed yes. We do find it hopeful to see these moments of tranquility, and I am sure that beauty will survive – think of Malvina Reynolds’ song “God Bless the Grass” :
needed to see and hear this today …Thank you
You are welcome…simple truths – eh?
Beautiful…made me cry…thank you.
What a gift and a blessing! Stay safe in these wild storms!
Thanks very much – we are so glad to be dry, snug and warm…another windstorm on the way!
