Hanging Out
Vanilla went for a stroll in the back garden…
.
.
…and found the Quince tree to climb.
.
.
Vanilla found some hangers in the tree!
.
.
It was fun hanging around, but a bit lonely…
.
.
…so her sisters came out to play…
.
.
…and they all hung out together for a while!
.
.
Then a giant frog picked them up…
.
.
…and hopped them over to the snowdrop patch!
.
.
They picked some and brought them inside!
.

Love the hanging out part…but altogether, it is a brave tale for the Hittys to participate in youthful story time.
Young human brought three hangers and two clothespins…I supplied the third pin, and the Hittys – the story was entirely her own! I love telling stories with her!
Love the stories and the spin that youngest member brings to the Hitty family. I get such a kick out of her imagination and sense of humor and fun. This was adorable and it appears that the girls enjoyed hanging around with her.
We had a lovely time outdoors, with Hittys and giant frog all bundled up and energetic. Despite the tranquil sound of “just hanging around”, there was actually quite a lot of bounce during the visit!
I love the whole new take on ‘hanging out’! It’s always a delight to see The Young One storytelling with the Quimper Hittys, and it is also a delight to see the flowers and green grass! We are stuck in an Arctic vortex that is brutal and springtime feels so far away….
We have a tiny arm of the same vortex reaching over here to us…but nothing like the negative temperatures Northern Alberta gets, so far thanks be, though we are headed to double digits below zero this week if the forecast is to be believed!.
what a delightful giant frog to have hopping about one’s garden. Enjoyed the girls hanging out and enjoying a late winter day.
We certainly did enjoy the giant frog hops! And such a considerate frog to give the Hittys a ride over to the Snowdrop patch – they were quite delighted with the adventure!
Thanks for the chuckles! What a fun time you had!
We did have fun! You are welcome.
You’re welcome! We did have a fun little outdoors visit…it was nice to be able to play Hittys with the youngest human!
