Cherry Blossoms

On a showery April day Henrietta lifted Gilly up…

…so she could perch in a sweet-scented cloud of lacy blossoms…

…then she sat herself down in a bower of flowers.

The girls walked home through the petal-strewn grass, but their hearts were still up with the cherry blossoms. What a beautiful gift from the cherry trees.

Spring breezes blowing

ephemeral loveliness

fallen, but not lost.

  1. Stunning photos. I love the colors of it all, the clothes, the words….ahhh, I am so blessed by reading the Quimper Hittys narratives!
