Saturday Garden Rain
It is finally raining! Mudlark and Guttersnipe hopped off the wicker bench…
.
.
…and went to explore the wet flowers…
.
.
…and trees…
.
.
…and vegetables…
.
.
…and fruits…
.
.
They got cold, so they went to sit in “Burning Bush” shrub but it was not any warmer…
.
.
…so they borrowed a couple of sweaters from the Hittys and went to sit on the bench again.

No matter the weather, the Quimper St doll household shows us pretty colors, pretty scenes in nature and pretty surroundings (what a cool “wicker” chair!). Thank you so much for your warm, cozy, refreshing narratives. They ALWAYS make me smile and sigh with contentment.
Thanks very much, I am glad the little Chinaheads make you smile! They were glad to get out, and didn’t mind the weather at all (though they wish I would knit them some tiny sweaters…)
what a bountiful garden. The girls look quite cozy in their borrowed sweaters.
We do have a bountiful garden this year – I love being able to share the joy with the Quimper dolls, and you!
That tomato shot is fabulous! The reds and blues against that searing gold… It’s the kind of yellow that almost makes me like yellow!
We painted our house that colour because of the seemingly endless grey and dismal winters…we find it is very cheering to look at compared to the dark colours our neighbours seem to favour…and it is a bonus that tomatoes look great when growing against it!
It’s fabulous. It reminds me of the gorgeous red house colour they favour in Sweden.
