November Yarns

Sweaters

Abigail and Graziella got their sweaters out of the winter clothes chest…

.

.

Mitten

…and came along on an expedition to “Mad About Ewe“… a store full of yarns and patterns and other fibre delights!

.

.

Pompom

They hope their next touques will have giant fuzzy pompoms on top!

.

.

Felted

The felted lady was busy counting and didn’t want to chat… though the Kitty was quite interested.

.

.

Fair Isle

This lady didn’t have much to say, but she had a gorgeous hat!

.

.

Button Heaven

So many buttons, a whole wall of them – the entire array was a bit dizzying!

.

Angel Hair

And so many beautiful colours and kinds of yarn it was awfully hard to stop squishing them.

.

.

Skeins

We brought home several skeins of Shetland wool…

.

.

winding

…and we had lots of help winding them into balls!.

.

Mad about Ewe is a delightful wool shop about two hours drive from the Hitty cupboard. We especially went there to get the Shetland wool, which we haven’t found nearer-by but were sorely tempted by almost everything else in the shop! Click here to see their website!

  1. I think you must have the most blessed Hittys in the world! What beautiful sweaters! I want the grey hoodie in my size!!♥♥♥♥

  2. what a fun store! And your girls made it even more delightful. I am sure that many marvelous cozy creations are in the future!

  3. That yarn shop looks like heaven if you are a knitting fiend! The two Hittys look lovely and cosy on top, but their little bare legs look a bit chilly to this warm climate person. Could they get some lovely knitted mukluks, or at least some leg warmers?
