Starlight Tree
On a dewey morning…
.
.
…Floradora climbed a tree…
.
.
…as high as she could…
.
.
…to look at the leaves…
.
.
…and the buds of our newly planted Cornus Starlight Dogwood tree.
.
.
Floradora is whispering encouragement …I am sure we will see the blossoms soon!
.
.
Floradora’s special tree – she is carved from a dogwood tree branch from Arkansas – she says the dialect is very similar!
.
.
Oh, how dear! I’m so glad that Floradora can recognize the similar dialect!
We think that the wooden dolls can talk to their own type of tree! Even if Floradora’s tree came from Arkansas and the newly planted ones were developed in Oregon!
0h how sweet this is….sweet Floradora and her special tree….we have enjoyed the dogwood blossoms in our area this spring.
We are waiting for our new trees to blossom, as there are other dogwood trees in bloom in our city. These trees may be feeling the shock of being newly planted, and also our neighbourhood is regularly 5 degrees cooler because of being so close to the ocean!
