Fall Equinox
A view out the window on a damp morning…
.
.
The cabbages are ready to go, but they are so glorious we can hardly bear to pick them!!
.
.
The Gooseberry leaves are turning red…
.
.
…and the quinces are swelling (thankfully not quite ripe because we are still dealing with the pears)!
.
.
We love these lilies, so red and beautiful…
.
.
…and the Michaelmas Daisies are so cute and small!
.
.
Henrietta and Cooky are enjoying the last day of summer, the autumnal Equinox is today at 11:50 pm Pacific time so tomorrow when we wake up it will be fall!

Your autumn is looking very pretty! Becky J
We love the fall…it’s a pretty time of year!
Cooky is getting a beautiful introduction to the garden, the cabbages look like an art installation.
We just love looking at the cabbages – they will taste good too if admiration adds flavour!
Your garden is an ongoing delight. Those cabbages are works of art! I would also hesitate to cut them off! They are so perfect. Cookie looks warmly dressed and ready for all fall adventures.
Those cabbages are epic! What are your plans for them? Anything special, like sauerkraut, or just delicious meals?
