Fall Equinox

Garden

A view out the window on a damp morning…

.

.

Cabbage

The cabbages are ready to go, but they are so glorious we can hardly bear to pick them!!

.

.

Gooseberry

The Gooseberry leaves are turning red…

.

.

Quince

…and the quinces are swelling (thankfully not quite ripe because we are still dealing with the pears)!

.

.

Schizostylus Lilies

We love these lilies, so red and beautiful…

.

.

Michaelmas Daisies

…and the Michaelmas Daisies are so cute and small!

.

.

Henrietta and Cooky are enjoying the last day of summer, the autumnal Equinox is today at 11:50 pm Pacific time so tomorrow when we wake up it will be fall!

  1. Your garden is an ongoing delight. Those cabbages are works of art! I would also hesitate to cut them off! They are so perfect. Cookie looks warmly dressed and ready for all fall adventures.
