February Sunday Stroll
Willa and Gilly took advantage of the lovely sunny February Sunday afternoon…
.
.
…to visit the newest spring flowers in the neighbourhood gardens…
.
.
…and boulevards…
.
.
…with the young human.
.
.
They rested in a Garry Oak tree, while the young human climbed an Arbutus tree…
.
.
…then they walked towards home on the soft soft moss…
.
.
…and then they gazed out to sea…
.
.
…with the warming and pulchritudinous sun on their faces.
.
.
After one long day
The beautiful flowers were
In their memories
.
.
Superb photos perfectly capturing light and shadow at its best! I wonder what Willa was thinking as she gazed out over the vastness of the Pacific Ocean. She has travelled a long distance from her birth near he Atlantic Ocean!
She has travelled far! Not quite as far as the Hitty in the book, but I think she is enjoying herself quite as much as she did! Thanks for sending her to me so she could cavort with my young human and I for a while…I wonder where she will go next?!
Beautiful! What a lovely walk!
Thanks! It was very restorative in every way – as was the cup of tea at the end!
What a lovely Sunday Stroll!
It was so lovely – a young person, a couple of dolls – I love to see the world through their eyes!
I always love when sweet little Gilly is involved …such sweet photos of her with Willa. Made me smile. A fun outing for the little ones and for the young human and her grandmother! Ahh sweet sunshine and spring on the way.
It was a lovely afternoon – the warm sun was heavenly as well as pulchritudinous!
One young human and
Two Hittys face the sun, and
Are filled with gladness
Such a beautiful place . I dearly love the Hittys.
Oh thank you so much, shepherdess!
