Basketful of berries
Luna had a little lamb, little lamb, little lamb…
.
.
…Luna had a little lamb, it’s fleece was white as snow!
.
.
Everywhere that Luna went, Luna went, Luna went…
.
.
…Everywhere that Luna went, the lamb was sure to go!
.
.
Luna and the lamb went out to the gooseberry bushes with their beautiful new collecting basket, but there was a guardian in the bush…
.
.
The cat/cow guardian hopped down…
.
.
…the lamb explained the situation to the cat/cow…
.
.
…and Luna was allowed to pick the gooseberries!
.
.
First she picked a gooseberry leaf for the bottom of the basket…
.
.
…then she picked some more berries…
.
.
…luckily she is made of wood and the thorns don’t hurt her!
.
.
She picked so many berries…
.
.
…that her basket was full and she was exhausted…
.
.
…but it was an excellent crop (from a Hitty point of view)…
.
.
…a Berry Basket delight!
.
.
Thanks so much to a talented Hitty friend from France, who made the beautiful basket; the generous Hitty friend in Quebec who sent the basket, the little lamb, and the cat/cow to me; and to the youngest Human in the family for her photographic (photos 2, 5, 6, 8, 10, 11, 12, 13) and editorial contributions!

Absolutely delightful and a wonderful collaboration!
Thanks! I like observing the world from a Hitty’s eye view, and love it when young human helps with that!
Totally agree with “blueheron91″….”absolutely delightful”… “collaboration”.
Thank you very much, we are always so glad in summer to be able to spend lots of time in the garden…
Wonderful adventure! Yummy glowing berries! A lamb! And, pray tell, what are those gorgeous purple posies in the first few frames? My favorite color (next to green:)! As always stunning photography! Love your tiny tales!♥♥♥
The purple posies are a kind of Scabiola, they are surprisingly glorious this year! We love purple and green together!
Purple and green! My two favorite colors!! Most of my wardrobe! Oh yes! Front door is purple, too!! LOL
beautiful, bountiful, berry basket! Lovely story in the garden.
It’s so ice to be out in the garden – such pleasant hours with the Hittys and young human in the sunlight dapples.
Does that lamb’s tail move?! Adorable
Little Bo-Peep says all little lambies waggle their tails behind them!
So many things for the Hittys! Luna was very lucky – the birds ate all my gooseberries!
We are very lucky – not many of the flowers set fruit, but what there was I think we got! just enough for a spoonful of jam!
Seems so delicious and so beautiful, I could say, I was there too! Thank you, Love, nia
You were there! I am glad you could visit our garden with us, nia.
oh so whimsical and fun. Love the story and the photos and the little lamb. Another delightful outing with Hitty and the Quimper humans.
It’s so much fun to play with the Quimper Hittys, and with the young human! The lamb is our newest favourite little barnyard friend!
