Wishes
Floradora and Coriander found lots of rocks…
.
.
…down at the little pebbly beach near the Quimper Hitty cupboard.
.
.
They were especially happy when they found a rock with a circle around it…
.
.
If you find a rock with a ring around it, you get a wish!
.
.
You don’t have to find a big rock to make a big wish…
.
.
…but you have to throw the rock into the water after you make your wish!
.
.
Coriander and Floradora found lots of wishing rocks…
.
.
…and maybe, if you wish for love, and then throw lots of wishing rocks into the water, ripples and waves and splashes will carry the love all over the world…Floradora and Coriander hope so!

Wishing for love to be carried out and beyond is a most generous thought. The story of circles around and on a rock is very appropriate and really solidifies the thought. Thank you.
You are welcome…I remember funny things from when I was a kid…it feels like a hopeful activity to send a wish out into the great unknown and unknowable.
May the ripples of love wash out and over and around and through everywhere for everyone! And, oh my goodness! The heart shape stone is incredible! ❤
We love finding wishing rocks – and heart stones, which are a little more unusual! Love and hope on the beach!!!
I didn’t know about that tradition. I’m adopting it immediately. 💜
Great! More hope in the world is a really good thing!
What a beautiful beach nearby! I love to look for rocks as well!
It is a lovely little beach, and very close by – and filled with rocks!
A lovely and “rocky” outing! Great photos of their adventures 🙂
It is a lovely little Westcoast beach, we all love visiting it!
All those wishing opportunities I’ve missed by not knowing! But sadly we don’t get a lot of rocks on the beaches here, so I shall have to look extra hard.
what a kind thing…to send love out into the world….The HIttys and their wonderful human are an example for all of us. My Hittys and myself salute you and thank you.
The world needs all the love it can get at the moment so well done Floradora and Coriander!
