A little jaunt to the Big city
Coriander loved my most recent ball of yarn…

…which I used to make a pair of “Hitty Sleeping Bags”…

…and a little cardigan.

She wore the cardigan and I wore the socks on a little jaunt.

Coriander and two humans travelled by ferry, bus, train and on foot…

…to Vancouver…

…where we met our absolute favourite knitting designers from Norway! Arne and Carlos posed for a picture with Coriander – she was thrilled! And Carlos recognized that her cardigan was made using their designer yarn!
We enjoyed a delightful presentation sponsored by Urban Yarns on West 10 th avenue and then…

…flew home to Victoria on a shiny red twin otter float plane!
It was a whirlwind trip! How exciting and inspirational to actually meet the friendly and talented Arne and Carlos!

That was so cool that you got to meet the Norwegians in person.
O am so envious! Arne and Carlos are a delight I’ve enjoyed through so much happy knitting. AND a flight!
We were happy to meet them! It was a fun trip Arne and Carlos were just as interesting and friendly as they seem on their videos.

It was so exciting! I think we flew right over your island on the way home!
What a wonderful trip!
It was wonderful, so short but very fun!
That is a beautiful yearn, I understand that she likes ut. It looks like you had a wonderful little outing.
We like the yarn a lot – it is named after a mountain in Norway! We will be thinking of more little projects as there is still some yarn left over!
Sounds like a wonderful little jaunt and I love the “sleeping bags” and the sweater made from the yarn! How fun you got to meet your favorite designers!
It was so fun! And Arne and Carlos were as delightful in person as they were on their videos.
