Peas and Pimpernel
The Hittys are happy – the human finished quilting and binding the new trug-liner! Now they have a softer landing if they fall over during trug-rides…
.
.
….of course Siyah thinks I made it specially for her…
.
.
…but she magnanimously allowed the Hittys to enjoy the hot summer morning trug-ride without her, and wandered off to lie under a bush!
.
.
Vanilla sniffed the sweet perfume in the air under the climbing rose as we went through the archway…
.
.
…to our neighbour’s garden (we water her plants and feed the chickens, and in return can harvest some of her produce). Coriander went for the peas…
.
.
…Vanilla picked the last few strawberries…
.
.
…and delighted in the Scarlet Pimpernel for a while!
.
.
Floradora organised the harvest for the trug-ride back to the Hitty cupboard!
.
.
Then they all shared a delicious fresh summer picnic salad…
.
.
…what a beautiful morning in Quimperland!

How lovely!!!
Everyone’s living their best life on your yard!
Totally lovely outing in the garden! I especially like that trug quilt; your HIttys are very well taken care of.
