Hellebore

Christmas Rose and her namesake flower.

Rose and I got tired of waiting for the Hellebore in our garden to flower, so we went out and bought a new one.

  1. Such a great plant for Rosie to be named after – her cheeks and the petals are a perfect match. Both are beautiful – Judy Brown sure is accomplished!

    • This is the exact colour of flower that I had in mind when I named her. We have to wait till the ground is less soggy before we can plant it, and hope to enjoy the flowers next Christmas too.

    • Rosie is happy to be here, though she is having rather more exciting adventures than she had imagined. She is thinking she might need a change of clothes soon, so her finery will last till next Christmas.
