Presents for Rose
Rose is ready to sew.
Some friends have recently given the Quimper Hittys some lovely presents! Rose is holding a card of tiny buttons which was made by Ilisha Helfman, and given to us by a prize-winning member of the (US) National Button Society. A friend gave us the tiny perfect thimble lying on the couch…I never imagined there were actual Hitty-sized thimbles in the world, now as soon as we can find a small needle, Rose is ready to sew and she won’t prick her finger. One of our friends was recently in Jordan and brought back tiny shadow box with a sketch of Petra and some tiny Jordanian rocks.

Thanks Lorraine, the cat is felted from natural coloured roving – he was fun to make, and he gets into all kinds of places the Hittys would rather he didn’t!
