Stew Pot
Constance has acquired a new Le Creuset stew pot. Today is a chilly overcast day, perfect for making stew, which needs to bubble on the stove for five hours. Constance sends Rose out to check the time so she can plan the rest of her busy day.

Rose finds the dull day is not conducive to time-keeping, at least not with a sun dial.
