Pink Card Trick
The Card trick is a fun pattern to look at, though you have to concentrate to get all the triangles in the right place. Rose likes the background and outer border colour…

It is so very pretty. My Not-Quite-Hitty girls are using your quilts to help the make decisions about the decor of the home they haven’t even found yet!
Lovely! The Quimper Hittys are glad to be the source of flights of imagination…
That must have taken a ton of concentration! I don’t remember seeing that pattern before. It almost makes you dizzy. :>) laura
It is really just a complicated nine-patch. Using two, three or four of only two different sized triangles, you sew up little squares, and if you get them all in the right order, you end up with this nice effect.
Good job! Another very nicely done quilt for the Quimper Hittys. It’s a nostalgic type of photo too. Thanks for continued inspiration!
Thanks – I am having fun with the 1930’s print fabrics, and love this quilt pattern. I recently found this sweet paper rosebud – it seemed to go well with the quilt!
This is one of my favourites so far. Rose looks extremely pleased with it – has she let it out of sight yet?
No Rose is strolling around the Hitty cupboard with the Pink quilt wrapped around her.
You did such a great job of lining up all the pieces, that it took me a while to realize that the center is 16 triangles and not 4 squares! It’s absolutely gorgeous!
Thanks – I do love the effect but this one involved rather a lot of unpicking and re-sewing!
sheesh…..I can hardly believe how many patterns you are coming up with. My girls and I are very impressed
well I am impressed and my girls are wishing you were their Mama!!
I’ve had quilt books around for as long as I can remember, and some of the names just stuck in my head…I do like the effect of this one, fortunately!
Oh my goodness, you’ve been a busy bee. So many beautiful quilts! Is Hitty going to open a quilt shop? She should.;o)
Thank you – we are loving the results of our quilting jag…perhaps we should open a shop…I hadn’t thought of that…the Hittys might be miffed, they were planning to play Princess and the pea.
