Thanksgiving
Two Quimper Hittys and a stowaway went to a small Island for Thanksgiving last weekend. We live on a big Island, and getting to our destination requires a four hour drive North, a Ferry ride to a smaller Island, and a ride in a tin boat to the small Island. It was an Adventure! Thanksgiving was a Wonderful feast for 14, and included the required roasted treat for the carniverous members of the party, and Chanterelle Mushrooms picked that morning and made into pie!
We had a wonderful time! The human will post more pictures soon.

Oh my a feast indeed. So glad you had a wonderful time!
It was a feast, and we all had fun!
That food looks absolutely yummy! Can’t wait to see more pics.
More coming!
oh what a grand time..just getting there was an adventure. Love the photo…makes me eager for our Thanksgiving to arrive!!
It was lots of fun…boat rides, yummy food, good company, well-behaved Hittys, gorgeous sunsets, and beautiful starlight.
Seriously delicious! Love the food and the old fashioned stove with your Hittys! I hope it was cool and they didn’t burn their feet!
We used the stove for the pies earlier in the day, and the turkey was cooked in the propane oven. At this point the woodstove was just cooling down and being used to keep things warm – it was cool enough to stand on…I did check!
