  1. At my kids school this week they held a Chinese New Year chapel and had dancing dragons by both the little kids and the big ones. They put a video of it on the news and it brought tears to my eyes and a frog to my throat because it reminded me so much of California. Merryn said she got choked up as well. I absolutely LOVE that they celebrated it. It is not common here, but we do have Chinese exchange students.

  2. Ahh and how fitting that Rose is representing the Year of the HOrse. Some of the traits for this sign…cheerful,
kind to others, talented, perceptive, popular….also a tad stubborn at times. Rose does not look obstinate, I am sure she got all the good qualities. Her outfit is just splendid. Lovely photo and lovely Hitty. YOu are so talented!!

  3. Rose is the perfect model in her Chinese outfit near the Chinese horse painting. Happy Chinese New Year – The year of the horse.
