Garden Fences at HCP
The Horticultural Centre of the Pacific is a lovely place to take visitors if they are really interested in gardening and plants. It is less brash and commercial than a more famous establishment nearby, the gardens are just as beautiful…and much more tranquil.
On a recent visit Constance and her favourite photographer admired the plants, but paid particular attention to the prettily weathered fences…
.
.
She found delightful places to sit and rest…
.
.
…and interesting methods of gaining a good altitude from which to view the gardens…or was she practising levitation?
.
.
She thought the variety of fence construction was as interesting as the variety of plants…
.
.
and enjoyed gazing out at the flowers from higher-up than is usual for a Hitty.
.
.
It was a lovely visit. Constance is determined to return so she can sit under trees in the Bonsai collection wearing her Kimono.

I am so grateful to Constance for showing us this treasure! We will add it to our list of ‘must see’ when we visit Victoria! 🙂 And, how clever of her to have discovered the secret of levitation! Will she be sharing with us how she achieves this?
The gardens have an excellent Café, also worth a visit! Constance’s lips are sealed about the levitation mystery, perhaps her favourite photographer can illuminate?
such great photos…so different to focus on the wonderful fencing. Love all things garden!! And Constance is such
a fitness buff….climbing, balancing, floating!!! We are totally amazed!!
It is always interesting to see a familiar place with new eyes! Constance loves exploring.
Constance did not let me see how she levitated. I just surprised her in the act and snapped a picture before she had time to be self conscious. She sure was having a great time exploring bamboo structures.
We are glad you were there to record her experiences so we can all experience her delight!
thank you Constance for reminding me of somewhere to visit this summer. Don’t think I’ll try levitating but will definitely enjoy the bamboo and weathered fences.
I am out that way often – I think I’ll become a member!
