Damp November Noon Hour
Some times at this time of year the only way to catch any natural light is to go for a walk at lunch time! Patience and I walked south along Government Street today to see what we could see…
Patience wore her favourite blue raincoat and hat. All Victorians know that you need good raingear to get through the winter around here!
The colour of the raingear can be very cheering on a grey day!
So can the colour and shape of the fences.
Not to mention the colour of the houses!!

Patience is SO adorable! She looks very solemn in her bright blue raincoat!
Thanks! Some of the other Hittys in the family are jollier, but she sticks to her quiet ways. I think the blue raincoat is her favourite!
I especially “like” this post. What a treat to stroll through your corner of the world!
I am glad you like it! Sometimes it is inspiring to roam through the neighbourhood with a Hitty in my pocket, I see the world differently!
I forget how much I like Patience!! Thank you for letting her “shine” for us today. Lovely lovely walk and pictures.
She had fun! They are all good sports about the rainy weather, fortunately.
Patience is enjoying herself and her raincoat is adorable.
Thanks! We love the colour!
How lovely to be able to enjoy your stroll vicariously. Such beauty!
James Bay is a very pleasant neighbourhood in Victoria!
