Ladybug Dreams
Spot the Ladybug!
After her snowy walk, Tansy retired to bed where her new pet ladybug felt right at home. She will be ready to play again after a good night’s sleep. Some of the Quimper Hittys, however, say their xylems and phloems are too sluggish in the cold, and they prefer to stay snuggled in bed until it warms up.

So sweet!
Thanks! It was fun to notice the plethora of ladybugs in Tansy’s bed, and capture it!
Very cute….reminds me of a little magnetic ladybird I had when I was very young – you put the magnet on one side of the fabric and the ladybird the other and you could then move it. Happy memories!
That sounds like a very amusing toy!
not sure it’s my xylems and phloems that have slowed down but something definitely has, hard to get up on these cold mornings! Tansy looks very cosy.
Yes, me too – Tansy is an inspiration!
Tansy is as snug as a bug in a rug…in this case, a quilt. Very dear.
Snug with her bug alright, she is definitely one of my endearing little Hittys 🙂
such a sweet photo and is that one of your hand made books by her bedside? The lady bug is a perfect little pet!!
It is one of my hand made books, she is enjoying it, there are so many Quimper Hitty pictures in it!
A visit to the Deep South might be a thought for those chilly-sapped dollies…it was in the mid-70’s today. Lady-bugs welcome!
That sounds positively balmy! The Hittys are grateful for the suggestion – it makes them feel warmer just to know that they have such generous friends.
Indeed, Tansy has a wonderful room and accessories! How fitting for her to find a lady bug to join her lady bug quilt!
She loves her quilt – it was made with little pieces of cloth donated by several Hitty friends – almost like a friendship quilt!
Love this blog! Tansy looks happy to be in bed with the cheerful quilt and the lady bug jammies, and of course, the pet bug!
Tansy loves snuggling in bed with a pretty quilt, a good book and a new pet!
Sweet ladybug dreams Tansy. You look cozy in your bed, with your comfortable quilt and book to read.
She slept very well, cosy and warm in her flannel nighty and had good dreams about ladybugs!
