Gingerbread 2
Agathe has been reminiscing about the Gingerbread House exhibition, and getting inspired by reading The Gingerbread Baby by Jan Brett.
Coincidentally the Human (who is addicted to new exciting cooky-cutters) recently purchased a Swedish Gingerbread House cutter!
…and Opal is doing recipe research!!
.

I have that cutter, too! Hitty Jean will be very interested in the results of your research!
We have three recipes in mind, but thought we’d start with the one attached to the cooky cutter – though slightly adapted (my traditional Pepparkakkor recipe doesn’t have Molasses in it!).
What fun in the QHitty cupboard or should I say the QH Gingerbread House!
We’ll have to gather some ingredients, but a construction project is planned!!!
There is a gigantic bowl of gingerbread dough in our fridge at this moment. It’s awaiting the right time to explode all over the kitchen. There will be no keeping the Hittys away when they discover their girl is cooking. Sigh.
Oh – what a delightful situation…I hope that the Hittys have aprons, and that pictures are taken!!!
I am sure this will be an exciting series of gingerbread adventures that we will get to share with the Quimper HIttys. Can hardly wait!!
The Block-sisters are having so much fun!! We are glad that you are enjoying their adventures.
Anything Gingerbread is always so good. Looking forward to more pictures.
I agree! We are planning a baking extravaganza this weekend!
Ooh..we can see some gingerbread house making and baking coming up….how exciting.
I am always glad to have encouragement in the kitchen! Hittys are great company!!
