Half-Pint Hitty Hijinks
The half-pint Hittys are very persistent, a bit like gnats..
I assured the little ones that I’d get them painted, but that right now I am working on getting my cherry wood Hitty done…My plan is that when she is ready I’ll paint them all together.
At first I thought they were off playing nicely with the Christmas presents…
…but as the noise levels increased I became suspicious…
It seems that Half-pint Hittys are not very patient…
…but having managed to enlist the help of the Christmas Elephant, you might call them persuasive…
…as well as persistent…
.

Wow, 5 of those half-pints seems like a few too many all of a sudden. Can you imagine having 25 of them? They would be carrying humans around without the need of pachyderm help.
Perhaps I should just paint one at a time and post them off before I start the next? Yes, I am glad I didn’t order 25 of them, that would probably have been a very big mistake!
They are quite the little monkeys aren’t they? LOL… who can resist the persuasion of a handful of little determined dollies and one elephant? Even Noah wouldn’t have stood a chance…. 🙂
They are quite the audience…it makes me a bit nervous to have them hopping about like fleas while I am trying to concentrate. I may have to get the Knusperhexe to invite them to the gingerbread house!
I think you better carve faster!! Those little half pints might stage a riot!! What do the HIttys think of them? Bemused or alarmed? Great series of photos…and I really like that elephant!
The tiny ones are pretty cute, but I think the Hittys would prefer them one at a time – you probably did the Country Hittys a favour only getting one!
Those little ones and the elephant are so very cute.
I really pounced on the elephant when I saw it at the store, I knew some small people would like him, though I wasn’t sure which ones!
They are certainly persuasive and seem to already have you under their thumb…. they have trained the elephant to do their bidding….who knows what else they are capable of?!
I am carving as fast as I safely can – they are a rather insistent little bunch!
Lovely fun! I guess boredom is out of the question for this week!
No boredom around here – too many dolls carrying-on!
Your carvings and your blogs are outstanding… what a wonderful place to stop and stay awhile! Awesome!! d’
Thank you very much – just want to say that while I do carve dolls, I did not carve the little half-pint pests, though I did paint and dress them!
