Cast Off
Min invites the cat to sit on her newly refurbished chair with its comfy felt mat. The cat is not impressed – and besides, a more interesting activity is occurring nearby….
The human is finally casting off the Ravelry “Follow your Arrow” shawl!! The picot edge bind-off is taking forever, so even very small expressions of encouragement are appreciated!
.

The shawl is looking wonderful!
Thanks – almost done!!!
The shawl is beautiful! Sometimes the last steps are the hardest–but keep going and it will soon be finished.
The picot edging is very time-consuming, but I like how it looks.
The shawl is truly lovely, and will be worth all the effort- so perfect to curl up in while dreaming up more Hitty adventures!
Thank you so much, the pattern just said to cast of plainly, but I thought the picots would look nice since the entire top edge is done that way.
Your knitting skills are impressive…your shawl is very lovely.
Thank you 🙂
I could not have done it with out the egging-on of the daughter of the family, who convinced me that I would learn a lot – she was right!
Ohh, exciting! 😀
Yes!! Can I borrow your pin boards for blocking?
oh that shawl is looking so rich….and of course…cats and yarn!! A natural combination. Yarn is way more interesting than napping on cushions! Altho I do love the idea of the felt cushion mat on the wee chair.
I think if I was the cat, I’d alternate between the cushion and the yarn!
The girls and the cat are going to love the shawl.
I think so too!
