Celebrating Spring
Agathe and Opal wanted to celebrate the arrival of spring, so they hatched a plan…
Several of the Quimper Hittys agreed that the word “spring” also brings to mind the word “jump”…
.
.
Carline had not realised that jumping on a bed could be so much fun!
Mungo played a rousing tune…
…things got a little out of hand…
…pillows were tossed, Hittys fell out and bumped their heads…
The miscreants were not at all happy to be reminded that the word “spring” also brings to mind “spring cleaning”.
.

Oh dear! I hope Zipporah realises what she she is getting into here – those girls will turn spring cleaning into “fun” as like as not.
Yes, one wonders what spring cleaning jobs she will come up with to make her point. My guess is she will first teach them to make the bed…
Please advise dear Zipporah that organizing that bunch is akin to herding cats!! A futile and exhausting venture.
Such a fun posting!! Love those little miscreants!!
I fear the tidying-up gene was not inherited by this bunch of Hittys.
I could just see those little Hittys bouncing around on the bed…and then Mungo aids in the fun! We never know what is going to happen next in the QH household. Thanks for the “springy” fun.
I hope your first days of spring will be fun and not too full of squealing shrieking or skirling!
I’m sure the girls think springing on the bed is a much more joyful celebration than spring cleaning.
I have to confess that I agree with them!
Oh, yes! A super way to celebrate Spring! This is a great post!
Thanks – the Hittys had fun – until they were caught!
Such fun for the Hittys…. we celebrated by shoveling tons of snow. And then shoveling more. And are going to be shoveling more…. I think I may need to go jump INTO bed with a pillow on my head and dream of merrily bouncing Hittys!
Oh dear, the snow seems to have outstayed its welcome in many places this year…we’ve been lucky here in Victoria!
Happy Spring ! They are all so beautiful… Thank you, love, nia
Thank you – I hope your spring is beautiful too!
