Tulips Outside
Agathe and Opal can’t help worrying about their potted Tulips… everywhere they go outside they see Garden Tulips in glorious abundance!
They both admire the pale white tulips, but think they are insipid compared to…
The stunning red and yellow variety …
and Agathe quite likes the pink….
…back at home the girls are almost convinced there might be a speck of colour in their pot.

Oh dear. I think the problem is that forcing bulbs, or anything other living thing for that matter, just is not in your Hitty’s nature.
You might be right. Next year we’ll probably plant bulbs outside and leave them alone to do their thing.
One is wishing that their hopes will be fulfilled surely at least ONE of those bulbs will bloom!! Great photos…our tulips are still in the bud stage here at the farm.
We HOPE so too! I hope your outdoor tulips will be glorious at some point soon!
WOW! Tulips are there now… Thank you, have a nice weekend, love, nia
We are so lucky to have a mild climate here – and spring is early this year!
Lovely color photos…thanks for the Spring cheer.
We are glad you like them!
It’s easy to see why tulips capture people’s imaginations!
They are very picturesque, but Agathe will stick to cut flowers next year, and Opal may not be all that enthusiastic about continuing her gardening education when she goes back home.
