Shooting Stars
Walking on a grassy hillside, Tansy found something beautifully Pink!
She and Constance sat on the mossy rocks and felt lucky to be part of this incredible world.
.
They think one of the loveliest moments of spring is when the delicate Shooting Star flowers are out.
The buds hang down from the stems, but then the coloured sepals fold back so the flowers seem like they are inside-out!
Could it get more perfect than this?
.

No, it can’t get much more perfect than that…but, perhaps if at the end of the walk, while still on the grassy hillside, you might encounter a doll banquet with a Spring theme …that might add to the perfection. Of course, the dolls would invite the human to partake with them.
What a lovely idea! Maybe I’ll have to start travelling with the picnic basket in my pocket as well as the Hittys!
Spring is such a gorgeous season! Luckily the Quimper Hittys can enjoy it to the max!
We love Spring! The Hittys begged to be taken along on this particular day, just in case there were some wildflowers on that particular hill.
Oh Tansy what a lovely surprise and beautiful little flowers. Love your crow dresses as well, they are fun. All the best, Hitty Madge 🙂
We love the spring wildflowers around here. The crow fabric is cute isn’t it!
Truly perfection! So very lovely!
I hear there is an especially exciting flower in the Muttart Conservatory these Days – Tansy would like to have seen that!
Yes, Putrella is immense and she surprised everyone this week by suddenly bursting into bloom completely unexpected. The Muttart staff thought that she wouldn’t bloom again for decades, but she had her own plans!
we are also enjoying spring here in Mo. So happy to see the girls out and about. Those shooting stars resemble our columbines in shape. Shooting stars…what a lovely name! Thank you for sharing.
Yes, I think columbines do that thing too with the inside out flower… we have some of those in our garden, which should bloom in a month or two!
Shooting star flowers – so perfectly beautiful – God’s creation is perfection !!!
They are one of our very favourite flowers, so delicately shaped and perfectly beautiful!
