Wood rat
Some of the Quimper Hittys have gone on an adventure for a few days, and five of have gone on a picnic.
There are a couple of uninvited guests at the Hitty picnic! A little wood rat from Finland…

I’m sure that the Left Behinds would have shared their feast when they were awake, but I hope that Ratty and Hopper didn’t disturb them!
The rat and hopper have learned to be very quiet when doing a spot of pilfering!
well I have to say that I would have been glad to be unaware while the rat was around!! I confess to a certain prejudice towards them.. Such cute pics however nearly make me change my mind…..nearly…..but not really!!
I enjoyed the pic of the girls snoozing so blissfully.
The Hittys might have had more leftovers if they had invited their cats along on the picnic! But cats think picnics are beneath them. They’d have enjoyed chasing the wood rat though.
