Carrot Soup goes to work again
Carrot Soup came to work with me again. She patiently waited while I ran around organizing things for the next few busy days at the Museum.
Her favourite part of the day (like mine) was the walk home, where we saw some enormous mushrooms, especially huge after the downpour on the weekend.
Sometimes we find tiny mushrooms too!
The days are suddenly short, and night fell suddenly before we were quite home!
Apologies for the quality of the pictures, I am experimenting with iPhone images which get transferred to an iPad via air drop, and I am sure I haven’t figured out how to get the best image quality…

Despite the photo challenges, you have captured the season perfectly, at least very similar to what we’re experiencing now with short days. Carrot Soup’s cheeriness though, brings a cheer to these less than well-lit days.
Not very well-lit at all, this time of year, but Carrot Soup is cheerful in despite…I like her attitude!
Lovely! Carrot Soup seems like an autumnal creature, though probably in the spring she will look like a daffodil and in the summer a sunflower. She’s just adorable.
I think she may indeed bee a cheerful chameleon – I am so glad you like her, and thanks for teaching me about the cuteness of fat cheeks!
The photo of her smiling down on the tiny mushrooms was just so sweet. Those little round cheeks and that lovely smile just make my day!
She can’t help herself! Smiles are her natural state!! I am glad you find her cheering, I do too!
Those mushrooms are beautiful – How nice for hitty and human to walk home from work and see so much beauty
We love to walk!
