Purple Drift

Perdita accompanied me on a walk on a sunny February day…

…she wore her new Spring pinafore, and reveled in the lovely perfect purpleness of this lawn full of flowers!

Wow…. I can’t imagine all those beautiful flowers in FEBRUARY!!!!! We are locked in ice here, so no flowers for many months- except, luckily, those lovelies that grace us indoors!

  I wish our back yard was more conducive to crocus in the lawn, but it is more like a swamp…on the other hand it is good habitat for errant crocodiles!
