Entrelac
The Hitty’s favourite photographer picked out a little ball of sock yarn for Opal and Agathe.
The Human decided it was time do learn the entrelac (interlaced) knitting technique!
The girls are warmed by the photographer’s consideration, the bright colours and their new warm blanket!

Quimper family works real well…great pick, great knit!!!! Opal and Agathe are two lucky woodens and we are happy you all shared! Have a great day.
Thank you! The girls certainly had a brighter night with this blanket on their bed!
I love your dolls with the smiles. Did you carve them? How much do your charge of one of them. They are do beautiful.
Thank you very much for your enquiry, I carved Agathe (with the pinafore) and TC Vollum carved Opal (in the red dress) I do not sell my dolls.
Beautiful entrelac blanket. Such lucky girls
Thank you very much – I am pleased with the way it turned out, and so are Opal and Agathe!
The blanket is fabulous! The girls look extremely pleased to be sleeping under it!
Thank you! The girls are extremely pleased, I just hope the exciting colours don’t keep them awake!
the girls are sure to have technicolour dreams under their beautiful blanket.
Yes indeed – very vivid and colourful!
Wow, when the QH throw down the gauntlet, they do it is such a spectacular way, but with such kindness, I must allow. It is a beautiful blanket – like sleeping under a sunset.
We are sure happy with the result, but oh dear, we weren’t trying to impugn anyone’s honour! I love the idea of them sleeping under a sunset!
No offense taken regarding our honor – only a challenge to sharpen our knitting skills – “As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another” – and that’s what friends are for!
Absolutely lovely and guaranteed to bring sweet dreams!
Opal and Agathe are smiling very sweetly, but I am always a bit suspicious when they are too quiet. Perhaps I had better check that they are actually sleeping…
So lovely…the Photographer is a person of great good taste and the Quimper Human is a knitter of renown!! What a combination!! The girls look so cozy.
We agree, the ball of yarn was perfectly perfect for the purpose! I think I am getting the hang of this entrelac thing, and the girls are snug and cosy alright!
The vibrant colors match their vibrant personalities. It’s a beautifully made and certainly colorful blanket.
We all agreed that they would be most appreciative of this colour combination! I love that yarn, very obligingly arranging itself into coloured blocks!
Wowwwww! Those are beautiful colors. Lucky, lucky girls!
Aren’t they lucky! They are feeling gleeful, and I thought they couldn’t be any more full of glee than they already were!
So nice to meet you the other night! I’m enjoying seeing how you have built a whole world for the Hittys. I hope to have such a complete picture of where my creatures come from when I’ve been making them longer.

Your sculptures are amazing! My Hittys would love to meet a Northern Unicorn in the woods some day!
