Opal and Agathe deal with apples

Opal and Agathe stacked up apples from the back yard tree…

…and supervised the washing, coring, peeling and chopping.

Applesauce!

Finally the twins got to the part they like best – quality control testing the applesauce!

  1. Your applesauce looks delicious. Makes me hanker for pork loin, mashed yams and greens to go with it. YUM! Those pesky little fruit fly critters are so annoying. I thought it was “so Hitty like” to warn them beforehand of their demise if they entered their cone of death trap. Hittys are so considerate.

  2. apples! one of the best things about fall. We are about to make a batch of apple butter in the crock pot/slow cooker.
Your applesauce is just lovely…as are the every delightful Agathe and Opal. the fruit fly trap is very clever!
