Bunny Picnic
The youngest member of the human family invited Dulcie and Constance to join her in a feast of bunny crackers.
…the fox decided to join them.
.
.
Then the fox invited the chickens for a play date – the fox was so excited!
One of the bunnies tried to escape…
…but the fox was quick!
The small human decided the fox was thirsty for milk…
…and so were Dulcie and Constance….
…and then the chickens and the fox ate up the bunny crumbs!

cutest fox ever!!!
The wee fox is from Knotty By Nature, at the corner of Lillian and Fairfield road! Well worth a visit!
I have been in there for natural dyes for my sister. cool store
What a wonderful feast was had by all…. except the bunnies! Thank you for sharing your wonderful Bunny Picnic! So much fun!
Bunny crackers can’t expect much – most options lead to stomachs…I am glad to have spent time with a little person who found them useful as story props, as well as snacks!
It was a delight to share in the bunny feast! 🙂
Lots of charm and fun always follows when the youngest member of the human family comes to visit with the Hittys. The smile on that little fox is so alluring. Poor bunny didn’t know the smile was because fox was thinking about how delicious that bunny cracker was going to taste.
I love to listen to the playtime narrative – the exuberant imagination and sudden changes of pace…the ideas flow and tangle so interestingly – it is a marvel to be part of it all! The fox was not the only one licking its lips after the morning’s adventure!
Poor little dead bunnies…but they gave their lives for a good cause! Little human and little fox, not to mention the
bunny eating poultry all enjoying those bunnies. Loveable photos! (and that is a grand wee fox).
I had previously thought of the bunny cracker bunnies as leaping, but I will only ever think of them as prey now…our little girl lives on a farm, so she does have a practical view of bunnies and foxes. Never a dull moment around here, that’s for sure!
I see that the generational gift of a good story is being passed along…wonderful narrative and fun for all.
It was a grand early morning adventure! I truly just listened and provided supplies (fox, chickens etc) when asked for. The small human made up the rest! What lovely fun!
Things sure are exciting there when the little human visits – the Hittys must really look forward to it! Cute little hands. 😊😊😊
Happy Thanksgiving!
I’ve never in all my life had so many delightful picnics, flower barbeques, and tea parties! It is so much fun! Thanks for the Thanksgiving wishes, I am grateful!
