Taking a Break
Constance and the Quimper Hittys enjoyed a visit from the 3-year-old smallest human for the Thanksgiving weekend. We enjoyed many Tea Parties, climbing adventures, story-readings and other happy fun.
However Dulcie was happy to get a bit of a break from the whirlwind. Hattie was particularly glad she lives where there is a doll-maker in the family, as she had a mishap while being strongly encouraged to straddle a wooden horse; and although Constance loves Beatrix Potter’s stories to bits, hearing the same one over and over can be wearying.

We’ve can all relate to this story no doubt. Still laughing!!!!!
Even the humans needed a little horizontal time to recover from the visit!
Hoorah for rest and restorative hands for Hattie.
Hattie was happy to be selected to be played with along with Dulcie and Constance, and we were all happy that the little human seems to love playing with us!
oh my….sounds like almost too much fun! I am picturing dear Hattie being “strongly encouraged” to ride the horse! Great photo of the girls resting. And a fun story concerning the smallest Quimper human!!
Almost, but not completely too much fun!! All is well and we are all recovering nicely!
creating memories for Hitties and humans, hope Hattie is recovering and everyone gets a good rest.
Hattie was pegged, but is now elasticated…she is grateful for the increased flexibility!
It sounds like a wonderful Thanksgiving was had by all- and I am sure that Hattie is extra grateful that her Dollmaker is able to restore her back to wholeness. 🙂
It was fun! We are always grateful to see the family, and really enjoy the little one’s exuberant imagination!
And, it is always a delight to read of her adventures with the Quimper Hittys 🙂
I loved seeing this! Such fun.
It was fun!
