Sweaters at Sunset
The yellow glow of sunset light inspired a few of the Hittys to don their sweaters and rush outside…
…they clambered along the rocky paths…
…scooted along the driftwood bridges…
…scrambled up the boulders
…and reached the sunset-viewing rock….
…what a great view.

Can’t even express in words how sweet, touching, gentle, loving, tender etc. etc. etc. this story is. Gushing with the wonder of it. Loved it.
I am so happy you liked our little expedition! We had a very pleasant sunset-viewing!
You must have a great deal of fun watching the dolls maneuver the various geological terrains that you come across…or maybe they have fun watching you maneuver these same areas? They look very nimble.
I do have fun…and if I see an interesting route you can be. Sure the next thing you know a bunch of Hittys is swarming over the area…they are quite nimble in a stiff-legged way…as am I in my stiff-legged way too😊
It was all worth the “adventure”!!!! Beauty, peace and woodens….what more could a heart desire? Thank you for pointing out the small and true pleasures in life!
It was definitely worth it! We loved the sunset, and sunsets with wooden doll company is definitely what my heart desires!
Another remarkable day in the lives of the Quimper Hittys. Wonderful photography and wonderful little wooden people. Thank you.
You are so welcome! We love our fun little adventures, and are happy to share them!
Thank you for sharing all this beauty and sweetness. 🙂

It was a really beautiful and fun evening! The sweaters were perfectly cosy as well as pretty!
This is so sweet and lovely. Do you make these dolls yourselves too? Cheers from Ohio, Johanna
I do make some of the dolls, in this post, I made Amelia and Agatha. Opal was made by t c Vollum and Perdita was made by Gustavo Trullet in Argentina…I dress them all 😊
Thank you! they are just amazing. dare I ask…but do you ever sell them?
I am sorry, I do not sell my dolls, but I am flattered that you would ask.
Of course you would never sell your friends!! Thank you so much for your email!! I will write back next week!Happy Thanksgiving!! xo Johanna
Everyone needs a walk at sunset.
Really true, and some days more needful than others
Stunning pictures, lovely to see your girls out and about.
Thanks very much – we have to work harder at getting out and about now the days are shorter!
