April Garden
How wonderful to have a warm sunny afternoon after work – Amelia and Tephra took a little stroll in the back garden!
They found some Northern Bedstraw…our goal is to collect enough of this to stuff a Hitty mattress!

Look! The Quince sapling has some buds!

.
And did you know that a Rhubarb flower was so impressive?

How wonderful, to discover these gifts of spring – especially the Rhubarb flower !!!
We think Rhubarb flowers are amazing!
Thanks for the stroll. It’s always a pleasure to view what grows in your area of the world. The addition of strolling dolls is always gratefully appreciated and so much fun. Our rhubarb is not quite flowering yet…need to get more ribs of it and am hoping to dehydrate some.
We love rhubarb, fortunately another one of our plants hasn’t bolted!
A delightful stroll. I personally have collected enough “bedstraw” from my flower beds to stuff a mattress for the Quimper human!! It does tend to take over if left unchecked. Today is sunny here and the Country Hittys and I will be planting (and collecting more bedstraw). Thank you for sharing your girls and your garden.
It doesn’t grow that well around here, so we are coddling our few plants! The Hittys think a bedstraw mattress would be lovely and aromatic!
Seeing the world through these newborn Hitty’s is like seeing these things for the first time all over again. Magical!
I think the world is magical! Thank goodness Hittys can see that and let us into the fun of their viewpoint!!
Always delightful, I love the picture of Amelia smelling the quince blossom.
I like it too – I think Amelia is hoping for a proper blossom to sniff – the bud doesn’t have all that much scent!
