Quince Blossoms

Sitting

Patience found a perfect fork to sit in, half way up the new Quince sapling.

Pink Bud

Further up, the buds are swelling in a lovely swirl of petals…

Lovely

I think there could be fruit this year, but we’ll have to nip them in the bud, so the tree can spend its energy on making strong roots!

  1. Oh Dear. Perhaps Patience could spare one bud and nip the rest. Her new quince tree looks like it is very happy growing in Quimperland.

  2. Patience will live up to her name by nipping the buds to grow the roots and wait for another year to taste the fruit. But, the pleasure of the blossoms will go a long way in making it all worth it. đŸ™‚

  3. Patience looks like a blossom in that little tree. Lovely photos. Her outfit is perfect for Quince Blossom observation.
