A Small Matter of Bedding
Ginny and Pip were given a new cradle…
.
.
…but they disapproved of the red-checked mattress.
.
.
So they collected a couple of stir-sticks…
.
.
…and had a tea party on the old hard mattress while the glue dried on the new slats…
.
.
…and the human stitched up some linen.
.
.
The new slats went in…
.
.
…and so did the new mattress…
.
.
…Ginny and Pip now have to convince someone to make a very small blanket.
.
.

I believe they will have not trouble convincing a certain someone to make them a cozy blanket or two! Love the photos…The Quimper human is very skilled at mattress making. Horrid Hetty Hickory enjoys a good nights rest regularly on her Quimper made mattress!
Rose may well get out her knitting needles! I am glad Ms Hickory has been enjoying a comfortable sleep these days, has it improved her temper at all?
That first photo in this story is the cutest thing! I had a great laugh! And Ginny and Pip are lucky to live with the Quimper Hittys, because you are so talented and fast in making it all happen.

Ginny and Pip are very insistent, and I enjoy making the little folk happy!
Ginny and Pip are lucky wee hittys. Their new mattress looks soft and cozy and that little tea set is beautiful.
The mattress fabric is a scrap leftover from the linen pleated pinafore, pantalettes and bonnet that I made for Aurelia on February 7th…the stuffing is two layers of felt. The wee tinies are happy with it! The tea set was part of a charm dangling at the end of a bookmark…just right for the dollshouse dollhouse!
well done on the mattress! tiny bedding is pretty darn cute
Ginny and Pip think it’s definitely an improvement over a piece of cardboard with red-check cloth glued to one side!
That looks like a very comfortable mattress. Ginny and Pip look very happy and are now going to try and convince the human friend to make them a blanket ???
I think perhaps Rose will get around to it faster!
