Snap Peas!
Opal and Agathe were keen to help me pick the snap peas…
.
.
…they scaled the netting…
.
.
…and clambered about in the Pea Forest.
.
.
They were very helpful when the pea pods were hard for me to reach…
.
.
…and they rode home in the collecting basket!

You’ve truly written a gardener’s delight of a story. How many peas did the block twins eat in the process?
I am pretty sure the answer is several – each!
It’s delightfully refreshing to think about a ramble in a cool Pea Forest.
We are lucky our neighbors have given us permission to avail ourselves of the fruits of the pea forest. We are taking advantage, and the Hittys love helping with the harvest, and eating the peas!
Those twins are resourceful…they can take an ordinary job and turn it into fun and laughter. I can just picture them scurrying up to the top of the netting lickety-split to help you.
Every little task is a big adventure to them! I really appreciate their view of the world!
Oh my favorite…snap peas! Wayyyy too hot here for peas but I am picking green beans. Love the block twins and those pinafores are just perfect!!
They are sweet, juicy and crisp…I think snap peas make a fine dessert!
