November Walk on the Beach

Beach

The beach is always interesting after a storm…

.

.

Plastic

…wind and waves churn things up- both uncovering and depositing stuff, like plastic…

.

.

Fish

…and new bits of driftwood, and fish!

.

.

Driftwood

Did a giant Hitty lose an ear?!

.

.

Glass

Our favourite thing is finding bits of interesting glass – this one has chicken wire embedded in it!

.

.

Thoughtful

…it is a conundrum…

.

.

Collection

…how big smashing waves contribute to such tiny things of beauty!

  1. A very different walk here out East…35 cm of snow on the ground, ski slopes running…minus 12C! Thanks for sharing this bountiful outing! Warms the heart!

    • We like this sweater too – made of Noro Lace scraps, all the Hittys like it. We have one other, but Tansy had it on for a month on her recent trip…Rose might want to consider knitting a few more!

  2. what an interesting walk on the beach and what a lovely little beach comber! I love all the pretty glass she is collecting. She certainly looks snug in that cute sweater.
