Summer Solstice
Constance picked some Thimbleberry leaves to line her basket with…
.
.
…and then collected the Thimbleberries.
.
.
From there she headed to the Raspberry patch…
.
.
…and then went to find some Salmonberries…
.
.
…and strawberries.
.
.
…berry time is Constance’s favourite time of year.
.

Happy Summer Solstice to everyone north of the equator, and winter greetings to our friends to the south. We wish the best of the season to everyone !

Summer says this is the BEST time of year up here in the North.
Thanks for the juicy eye candy.
The berries were sweet and very juicy, as well as being beautiful! You are welcome, we wish we could have shared them with you!
Goodness what a lot of berries and the variety! We just finished the red Mulberry season. A good year as the trees were loaded…lots of humans, birds, opossums and raccoons! they grow wild in the yard and woods here. Blackberries should be ripening soon. Glad that Constance found such a bounty,
We love berry season…but we don’t have a mulberry tree! Constance is glad she found the bountiful berries too, they made a delicious Solstice feast!
I love it how your dolls make a feast, banquet, bouquet, party, cake, tea, etc., out of what is available. Life must be a celebration for you nearly every day!
The Hittys are very small, and it doesn’t take much to make them happy! And they think berries are about the happiest food there is!
I love Becky’s comment…so true…such great celebrations and fun.
We think celebrating the good stuff, even the tiny good stuff, is essential to our well-being!
