Cinnamon Bun Day
Mormor and Jane are pleased with themselves….
.
…instead of spending all day slaving over a hot stove, they went out and bought a giant cinnamon bun!
We hope you either made or bought your favourite buns today, and ate them with delight! Constance’s favourite Cinnamon buns of all time are from the Regatta Cafe in Helsinki…next year Mormor will try to emulate them, but in the meantime, she and Jane visited Bubby Rose’s Bakery here in Victoria!
Happy Cinnamon Bun Day!

How did I miss this day??!!! I LOVE cinnamon rolls and it has been way too long since there were any in this house!! I shall ask Cousin Ida to start her baking day early!! Mormor has such a wonderful expression! I am sure Jane is so pleased to have her company.
We love cinnamon rolls too, and are glad that Mormor and Jane remembered to celebrate this year!
OMG! These stories are hard on my waistline. I had pancakes for lunch and now my all time temptation…Cinnamon buns….but come to think about it…life is short…I think I’ll just sit back with a cup of tea and my hittys and enjoy the good things life has to offer…like Quimper Hitty and her wonderful human.
Cinnamon buns are very tempting! We don’t indulge very often but how could we not today! With tea, of course…and in appreciation of good things – friends, tea, cinnamon buns!
Oh Cinnamon Bun day sounds like one of the best of days, especially when you can enjoy it with friends.
Cinnamon Bun Day is a favourite around here! Mormor and Jane remembered about it in time to go to the bakery, but next time will attempt to bake them from scratch!
Sometimes it’s so much nicer to just buy a good cinnamon bun.
It was a very good cinnamon bun!
