…Happy International Quilt day!
The Victoria Quilter’s guild has been encouraging people to hang quilts on their porches today, for a Socially Distant community quilt show! The quilts are sending cosy hugs to our neighbours, even if we can’t actually get close enough for a real one. We love the idea, and have a big quilt on the human porch, and of course the Hittys joined in!

This wee quilt show has brightened my day! Thanks so much for the cozy hug!
I am glad your day was brighter! You are very welcome!
I’ve hung out a small patchwork piece and shared on my blog. Maybe it would be nice to leave them up for the weekend. warm hugs and stay safe.
Good plan to hang out the patchwork – warm hugs to you and your friends and relations as well…
what a marvelous event! And of course the Quimper Hittys would take part. They are an example to all of us. And that quilt is so bright and lovely.
The sunshine quilt is one of the Quimper Hittys favourites of all time! They were only too happy to haul it out for an airing, especially in such a good cause!
I’ve enjoyed seeing that pretty sunshine quilt again. What a marvelous idea to hang them out for such a day! All those quilts can help keep spirits on a higher level. Thanks for the cheer, QH Household!
Isn’t it a great idea? We were happy that we found out about it in time and could participate (humans and Hittys both!)
