Peaceful Morning
On a quiet June morning…
.
.
…Perdita passed the beginnings of a Fairy ring…
.
.
…on the way to the stump Garden!
.
.
All these Snapdragons and Nasturtiums seeded themselves….
.
.
…Perdita says they are a gift…
.
.
…it makes her contemplate: the wonderful shapes and colours of nature; the miracle of being alive; the joy of solitude…
.
.
…contemplation is always easier with tea!!
.
Beautiful beautiful thoughts and photos. A lovely start to my morning. Thank you!
It was pleasant out at the stump garden – early pearly light, volunteer flowers, cup of tea – Perdita says tea is the perfect start to anyone’s morning.
Beautiful start indeed…makes me feel like pulling up my own chair…but then I might spoil it for Perdita so…I will refrain ❤️
It is possible to enjoy solitude with a friend…we would both welcome you!
All of this quiet, sweet narrative resonates within me too, Perdita. I will join you long distance and raise my tea cup to you and your contemplative morning. Thank you.
A quiet morning is a lovely antidote for the business of yesterdays todays and tomorrows. And tea just makes everything more bearable!
Such a lovely way to begin the day! Thank you!
Thanks very much – we enjoy our peaceful mornings, they really fortify us for the rest of the day!
Good morning from Melbourne Australia and thank you for such a lovely start to the day 🌞
It is lovely to hear from you – you are welcome!
another beauty.
We love the garden in the morning!
What a wonderful reminder of what to think about in these trying times.
Sometimes we just need to take a break from it all!
Perdita inspired me to do some flower garden contemplation of my own. With iced tea in hand and a comfy lawn chair. I quite admire her pinafore apron. Thank you for such a peaceful posting.
