Fall Cleaning
Spring cleaning is traditional in the Hitty cupboard, but Gracia makes sure her Carnicería gets a deep cleaning in the fall as well, in addition to the daily attention, and the thorough weekly cleaning.
Polishing
Gracia wiped, polished, dusted, cleaned and tidied from the topmost shelf down to the pumpkins on the floor…

…and scrubbed the butcher’s block with the handmade lye soap…

…and Cordelia swept the cobwebs from the corners and the dust from the crevices!

Quimper Hittys 
I need those girls in this house! It could use a good cleaning.
They would do a good job, though it might take them a while to deep-clean a human-sized house! They love their hand-made soap – did you recognize it?!
No worries about salmonella in Garcia’s Carniceria. It must be so enjoyable for her to have Cordelia on site helping.
No indeed, they keep an impeccably clean shop! The sisters work very well together, and during the slow times, they reminisce about their life in Argentina before they were adopted into the Quimper household.
It’s so nice to see the Argentine Hittys working together in the Carniceria. I’m always amazed at the change of seasons to Spring and Autumn that the cleaning “bug” hits and one wants to clean and tidy up. It’s delightful to be in the company of such stalwarts in this endeavor.
Everything looks so fresh and revived after a thorough clean…the girls enjoy the process as well as the results, and the shop is certainly more inviting!

I agree with you about that – it can be hard to find the energy – fortunately the Hitty’s habitat is very small, and there are a lot of them to pitch in!
she is such a good shop keeper! Her shop is so nicely stocked and spotless! the best kind of shop and with such a lovely sales person!
Gracia prides herself on her spotless shop and its contents! She loves to be able to help the customers find exactly what they want, and a tidy shop certainly helps with finding things!
