Little people in the garden
Guttersnipe and Mudlark had a visitor this afternoon…
.
.
…and they went on a jolly tour of the garden, starting by swinging on the Crocosmia!
.
.
Young human heard Guttersnipe ask for a close-up view of the Strawflower…
.
.
…and Mudlark wanted a little sit in the sunflower bower…
.
.
…they enjoyed the view from high up in the plants!
.
.
Then they went higher but Guttersnipe fell out!!
.
.
They helped with the first veggie harvest…
.
.
…then they put on their Nasturtium bonnets, drank some Alpine Campanula nectar, and chatted with the snapdragons for a while!
.
.
…what a great afternoon!

Youngest human spins the the most enchanting and sweet stories. She is growing up into a beautiful young lady.
I like her appreciation and use of of ephemeral beauties in the garden and around about…I love spending time with her in the garden.
Such lovely and magical moments in the garden! Thank you for giving us a glimpse into the delights of a wonderful afternoon!
We finished off the visit with pizza delivery, which was delicious but not quite as photogenic!
So dear! I would really have enjoyed listening to the conversation between Mudlark, Guttersnipe and the Snapdragon blossoms. What tales would they have been telling and how would they have viewed the world?
The snapdragons seem to be fleeting, but chatty friends! Such a flowery conversation! I believe the deliciousness of Raspberries might have been one of the topics…
What a lovely time was had by all. Thanks for letting us peek in.
You are welcome…all the little and not so little people had fun in the garden!
what a perfect day in the garden. Guests who appreciate small dolls and pretty flowers are the best kind of guests!
We like that kind of guest too, appreciative, delightful and entertaining!
