Rain
It is a glorious morning…
.
.
…rain is falling…
.
.
…the first rain in more than 50 days…
.
.
…every single drop…
.
.
…is beautiful…
.
.
…and precious!
.
.
Grateful for the rain…and hoping it will travel East and help dampen the forest fires.

Thank you very much, Bodana – I hope your garden was refreshed today too!
Every drop really is precious and a beautiful gift!
We are so lucky – every drop was especially beautiful this morning!
At last…all the trees, flowers, shrubs and grasses got a long overdue drink. Praying rains continues where it’s needed.
The rain was long overdue! Luckily though, even with watering restrictions in place we could water by hand, so the trees, shrubs and flowers by are not as parched as they might have been. We sincerely hope the interior of BC got some rain today too!.

wonderful photos. Rain after a period of drought is so life affirming! The COuntry HIttys and I rejoice with you!
Thank you – it was wonderful…though brief. The garden is thoroughly dampened and very refreshed!
Lovely, lovely photos, and so happy for the rain!
Thank you very much – we are so happy too!
The smell of rain and the fresh earth must be wonderful.
Oh yes – petrichor is one of our very favourite smells! Lovely lovely lovely!
We had some long awaited rain ourselves yesterday! It hasn’t been 50 days, but winter is our Dry season, and everything has become rather dry and crisp. Give it 2 days and all will be green again, and the grass will shoot up!
