Honey Spas 2021
The flowers are glorious…
.
.
…the honey bees think so…
.
.
…and so does Constance!
.
.
The colours are shifting toward yellows…
.
.
…and reds…
.
.
…Constance collected some beauties.
.
.
Thank you honey bees…
.
.
…for pollinating the flowers, and for making wax and honey!
.
.
It is said in Russia and Ukraine that today is the day the bees stop collecting nectar, the roses stop blooming, the swallows start their migration south and the dew on the grass becomes cold. This celebration marks the beginning of the end of summer…Happy Honey Spas. We hope people everywhere are able to celebrate a joyful and abundant honey harvest!

So many lovely photos in this post! The smoke-yellow light really brings out the best in the flowers. And bees everywhere!
Bees everywhere alright! The smoke is definitely casting a yellowish tinge on the garden, the Brown-eyed Susans are especially saturated and lovely in this light!
Constance is very fortunate to have such beautiful flowers to choose from, and so are the bees! I was delighted to be reminded of straw flowers which I have not seen since my childhood.
Constance is glad of the Strawflowers – such pretty colours and crispy petals! We are saving a few blossoms for a winter bouquet!
Your garden is indeed glorious….the colors and variety!! Constance and her humans are accomplished gardeners with wonderful green thumbs! Happy Honey Spas day to all!
Thank you for the Honey Spas greetings…and for the compliments on the garden. I am so happy when I look out at it – the pretty flowers tasty veggies, and the hum of bees are very satisfying!
I always love this celebration~thank you for the beautiful cheer that your garden (and bees!) has brought to us.
I love it too! The garden has been such a sanctuary from difficulty and distress…and the idea of celebrating the turn of the season is somehow calming to the denizens of the cupboard.
Magic ❤️
I love garden and nature magic!
