A Wet Adventure
It was a soggy day, but the Hittys and an arctic fox named Snowy wanted to go for a walk anyway.
.
.
They planned to visit a beautiful lake in the rocky foreshore near the Quimper Hitty cupboard.
.
.
The smallest human carried them in a basket…
.
.
…and they arrived at last!
.
.
Willa said it must be wet and cold although beautiful to look at…
.
.
…but Elsatuna decided to go for a swim!!!
.
.
She didn’t have a bathing suit but that didn’t bother her at all.
.
.
Off she floated into the lake, and she had a fine time…
.
.
…but eventually she hopped out and the youngest human dried her off with her sweater.
.
.
Everyone else was worried but Elsatuna was envigorated by the exercise. She was glad that Snowy could wrap her tail around her to warm her up!

What a magical and delightful adventure! I am glad that Elsatuna was able to warm up with a little help from her human and her foxy friend! 😀
It has been very soggy here, so it was nice to get out for a walk (and a swim!) between downpours!
I’d go for a chilly dip too, if it meant I could wrap myself in white fox fur afterwards! (Never the real thing, of course!)
The little basket of friends enjoyed their wet adventure, (some got wetter than others!), and everyone was glad to get dry and warm by the wood stove afterwards! Little fox was happy to lend a tail in the interests of warming up the chilliest!
There’s absolutely nothing to beat the beautiful heat of a wood stove 🔥
Another delightful photo adventure! Thanks so much for sharing it with us.
Our pleasure – it is delightful fun and we are happy to share our stories!
thank you and the youngest human for a delightful story and a fox warming start to what is going to be a very wet day.
Yes, rain, rain and more rain…what a damp autumn nit has been! I am very glad that we don’t have a basement to worry about!
forgot to mention I love the pink pig – hope he can swim.
Small human sewed the pig, using a cookie-cutter for the shape plus a belly piece…it’s name is Hygge-pigga 🙂
This was so fun. Wish all of us who comment could get together for a walk on your lake. Snowy was the perfect pet to warm up little Elsatuna. ( love the names) Youngest human brings magic on every visit.
We wish you could come with us too, we love young human magic! The Snowy fox was very generous with her tail – Elsatuna was really glad of the fluffy warmth, and Arctic foxes are good at wrapping their tails around chilly noses and toes!
have to admit I shivered when little Elsatuna went for a dip! ….What a fun adventure for the youngest human and her companions…..and you!
Anthea and Willa were a little shocked at Elsatuna’s boldness – skinny-dipping in November didn’t appeal to them!!! They were glad to see Elsatuna back on shore and dried off however, and all was well in the end!
