A Wet Adventure

Going for a walk

It was a soggy day, but the Hittys and an arctic fox named Snowy wanted to go for a walk anyway.

.

.

Making their way to the lake

They planned to visit a beautiful lake in the rocky foreshore near the Quimper Hitty cupboard.

.

.

Ten steps and you’re there

The smallest human carried them in a basket…

.

.

Here we are

…and they arrived at last!

.

.

Looks wet

Willa said it must be wet and cold although beautiful to look at…

.

.

Are you sure?

…but Elsatuna decided to go for a swim!!!

.

.

Skinny dipping

She didn’t have a bathing suit but that didn’t bother her at all.

.

.

Floating merrily

Off she floated into the lake, and she had a fine time…

.

.

Getting Dry

…but eventually she hopped out and the youngest human dried her off with her sweater.

.

.

Warmed up again

Everyone else was worried but Elsatuna was envigorated by the exercise.  She was glad that Snowy could wrap her tail around her to warm her up!

  1. This was so fun. Wish all of us who comment could get together for a walk on your lake. Snowy was the perfect pet to warm up little Elsatuna. ( love the names) Youngest human brings magic on every visit.

    • We wish you could come with us too, we love young human magic! The Snowy fox was very generous with her tail – Elsatuna was really glad of the fluffy warmth, and Arctic foxes are good at wrapping their tails around chilly noses and toes!

  2. have to admit I shivered when little Elsatuna went for a dip! ….What a fun adventure for the youngest human and her companions…..and you!

    • Anthea and Willa were a little shocked at Elsatuna’s boldness – skinny-dipping in November didn’t appeal to them!!! They were glad to see Elsatuna back on shore and dried off however, and all was well in the end!
