Tansy at Kiixin
Tansy and Favourite Photographer only spent a few days at Kiixin, helping to collect data which will be used to study the effects of climate change on one of their favourite places.
Thanks, Stella for this photo!

She is used to roughing it while out in the field…

…but is home, safe, comfortable and dry now.

She will long be dreaming of her time amongst the houses of Kiixin. A few days of data collection will turn into many days of analysis and report-writing. We are glad to have the intrepid travellers home again!

So glad Tansy and Favourite Photographer are safely home after their adventures.
They are both warm and dry and also glad to be home!
Ah yes, it’s always wonderful to come home and sleep in your own bed.
The trip was wonderful, but as they say in Sweden, “Borta bra men hemma bäst”
It is great to go traveling, but always nice to be home and sleep in your own bed. Welcome home, Tansy, until the next trip.
The rest of the cupboard always looks forward to Tansy’s return with her stories and tales of adventures!
How wonderful that FP and Tansy were once again able to go afield. Tansy looks very snug in that special bed of hers. Contentedness surely arises when one gets back to one’s own bed and can ponder those recent adventures.
The long-awaited and much delayed expedition was a real delight for the explorers, but both are happy to be snug back home and working on the next stage!
Great for Tansy to be part of an archaeological survey and experience that rich west coast environment
Tansy is grateful for the experience! The tales she learns through the conversations with trees are amazing!
Another adventure under her belt…happy to know Tansy and her side kick are able to be out and about ..and of course return home to snug quarters!
Yes – the project was delayed three times, from weather and pandemic, so they were glad to get out there at last and begin the work!
